The Best Place

for a Paleo Lifestyle

About

My name is Daniele De Vivo I’m 34 years old and I work as Chef.

I have recently discovered the Paleolithic diet. I must say that after reading many articles on the net, or magazines, on diets with no carbohydrates and how complex sugars can cause problems to our health.I found in the Paleolithic diet a good guideline for the proper nutrition.

Working in catering and cooking large amounts of food to many people for over 13 years, I am increasingly aware of how many allergies are mainly related to foods which are not present in the paleo diet; celiac disease, favism and allergy to dairy products are very common among my customers. I found very interesting the results of various studies which demostrate how human genome is almost the same ( with a difference of only 0.02 %) compared to that of our Paleolithic ancestors, but our alimentation ( mostly for the variety ) has changed a lot.

In fact I think that a good portion of allergies listed previuosly is due to this type of alimentation “wrong” and “unknown” for our body. While surfing the net, I came across various recipe books and I was amazed by the quantity and quality of the recipes present in these books, and for this reason I decided to create this site that illustrates the benefits of the Paleolithic diet and at the same time make present various books to simplify the search for Paleo recipes.

Being a chef , my dream is to open a restaurant where you can eat only paleo recipes and I really hope that one day I can make my dream come true.
